LBTEK offers a variety of Nikon Infinity-Corrected Microscope Objectives, covering a wavelength range from ultraviolet to near-infrared. These objectives are suitable for brightfield microscopes, darkfield microscopes, DIC microscopes, fluorescence microscopes, polarization microscopes, multiphoton microscopes, and phase contrast microscopes. The Nikon objectives provided by LBTEK can be categorized based on chromatic aberration correction performance into Plan Semi-Apochromatic Objectives (also known as Plan Fluorite Objectives or Plan Fluorite Lenses) and Apochromatic Objectives, with the latter offering higher image quality than the semi-apochromatic type. Based on the immersion liquid used during imaging, the objectives can be classified as dry objectives, oil immersion objectives, and water immersion objectives. The NAPO25XCW-MP and NAPO25XCW-MP1300 objectives are optimized for deep tissue imaging with multiphoton confocal microscopes, making them ideal choices for multiphoton imaging. The NPLNFL10XDLL and NPLNFL10XDLL objectives are designed for positive phase contrast imaging, making them the perfect choice for phase contrast microscopes. Using LBTEK’s adapters SM1-M25A or SM1-M32A, these objectives can be mounted onto 1-inch optical component holders.
LBTEK offers Nikon Plan Semi-Apochromatic Phase Contrast Objectives with magnifications of 10X and 20X. These objectives have good transmission properties across the ultraviolet to visible wavelength range. For optimal phase contrast, phase contrast objectives require the use of the corresponding annular diaphragm, which must be selected based on the type of microscope. Please contact LBTEK technical support for diaphragm selection. The phase contrast objectives provided by LBTEK are positive phase contrast objectives, where light passing through the observed specimen interferes at the image plane to produce dark images on a bright background with high contrast. The principle of positive phase contrast objectives is explained in the technical documentation. Specific parameters can be found in the product specification table.
